​​Certified Dental Assistants

CDAs must be certified with the College of Dental Surgeons in order to practise in B.C.

Information about the services that CDAs are authorized to provide is contained in Part 8 of the CDSBC Bylaws (PDF) and in CDSBC's Guide to CDA Services (PDF).

Note: The Guide to CDA Services  was updated in September 2017 to clarify which services can be performed by CDAs.

Graduates from B.C.
