Annual Renewal 2018/19

Online renewal is open.

Log in to renew your registration/certification

Registrants are required to renew their registration or certification by 1 March each year.

It is every registrant's responsibility to renew by the deadline. Renewals are done online by logging into your account, completing the forms and paying your annual fee.
The annual renewal and other relevant fees can be found in Schedule F of the CDSBC Bylaws >>

Please note: As of 2017, one fifth of the Criminal Record Check application fee is collected as part of the annual renewal registration/certification fee each year.  This amount ($5.60) must be added to your annual fee payment in order to process your renewal.

Reinstatement fees apply after 1 March, if you miss the deadline.

You will need the following information in order to complete your renewal:

  • The number of hours that you practised in 2017.
  • Your most current contact information (i.e. email address, mailing address, practice address, phone numbers).
  • Your Driver's License number, all names that you use or have used, and your place of birth (city + country). This information is required in order to ensure that CDSBC has the required data needed for processing your Criminal Record Check through the new direct upload process (from CDSBC to the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General directly).

What are my fees?

Read the 2018/19 fee memo (PDF) that was mailed to registrants in their annual renewal package.

Dental Therapist fees are available in Schedule F of the CDSBC Bylaws (PDF). Dental Therapists will receive their renewal forms in the mail and do not renew online.

The annual registration fee may be paid:

  • Online by credit card (VISA or Mastercard ONLY).
  • Visa debit cards are not accepted.
  • Online by Interac from your bank account (RBC Royal Bank, TD Canada Trust, BMO Bank of Montreal, and Scotiabank ONLY).
  • By mailing a cheque or money order - payable to CDSBC - along with the Online Renewal Payment Summary page.
  • In person by cash, cheque, money order, Interac, or credit card at the CDSBC office Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Your renewal is not complete until CDSBC has received both payment of your registration fee and your complete renewal information.
