Annual Renewal 2019/20

Reinstate Your Registration/Certification Online

The deadline to renew your registration/certification was 1 March 2019.

Dentists and CDAs who have not renewed by 1 March are not permitted to practise until they have reinstated. As the deadline has passed, you are now required to pay an additional reinstatement fee.

Registrants who practise on a lapsed status may have a complaint brought forward against them.

Reinstatement before 60 days

Reinstatement completed by 1 May 2019 (within 60 days from the renewal deadline) can be done online by logging into your account, completing the online form, paying your annual renewal fee as well as the reinstatement fee. The annual renewal and other relevant fees can be found in Schedule F of the CDSBC Bylaws >>

Reinstatement after 60 days

To reinstate after your registration has lapsed for more than 60 days requires completion of a separate reinstatement application process and an increased reinstatement fee. Find out more >>

Note: Your annual renewal is not complete until you have submitted your renewal information and both renewal and reinstatement fees.

What do I need to reinstate?

  • Your most current contact information (i.e. email address, mailing address, practice address, phone numbers).
  • If your Criminal Record Check is due to expire this upcoming year, you will need your driver's license number and all names that you use or have used.

What are my fees?

Read the 2019/20 fee memo (PDF) that was mailed to registrants in their annual renewal package.

How do I pay?

  • Online by credit card (VISA or Mastercard ONLY).
  • Online by Interac from your bank account (RBC Royal Bank, TD Canada Trust and BMO Bank of Montreal ONLY).
  • By mailing a cheque or money order - payable to CDSBC - along with the Online Renewal Payment Summary page.
