CE Submission and Audit Process

Begins October 20, 2020

New audit process for individual CE submission

We are launching a new audit system for processing registrants’ continuing education submissions. The audit system will randomly audit a percentage of the CE submissions entered into the online CE portal and will reduce turnaround time for processing submissions. Registrants will still submit credits through the CDSBC CE portal. The details of the new audit process are below:

CE Transcript Terminology

As of October 20, 2020, the following changes have been made to the terminology on your CE transcript. This will be reflected on the 2018-2020 and new transcripts moving forward.

  • Submitted – once an activity is submitted to the online CE submission portal, and if the submission is not selected for audit at the end of that day, this label will remain and the CE credits are recorded to total accumulated for the CE cycle.
  • Under review – indicates that a submission has been selected for audit. These credits will remain pending until the requested supporting documentation is submitted by the registrant and CDSBC staff determine whether the credits are accepted or denied.
  • Approved – indicates that a submission has been audited and approved. The credits are recorded to the total accumulated for the CE cycle.
  • Denied – indicates that a submission has been audited and it has been denied, either because it does not meet the requirements, or proof of attendance was not provided. These credits are not recorded to the total accumulated for the CE cycle
