You are required to get approval from CDSBC for your dental corporation name before incorporating your dental practice. This can be done by following the application instructions for new dental corporations.
After you have incorporated and have obtained a permit (i.e. consent) from CDSBC to practise dentistry through your company, all office procedures should be set up or modified to reflect the fact that the business is now being carried on by the company and not by the dental professional(s) personally.
Our Checklist for Rearrangement of Office Procedures (PDF) outlines steps that you should take to ensure your patients and suppliers are aware of the incorporation.
