CDSBC has a
policy development process that emphasizes engagement with registrants and other stakeholders.
Building on this commitment, we are hosting a series of listening sessions across the province. Listening sessions provide an opportunity for registrants to be engaged early on with policy development initiatives. The sessions emphasize registrant discussion and CDSBC listening. The insights gained through the listening sessions will enhance the College's work on key topics.
Listening sessions are two hours long, free of charge, and are not eligible for CE. They are hosted by board, committee, and staff members.
We thank all those who participated in the 2017 Listening Sessions. More engagement opportunities with registrants are posted on the events page as they become available.
We have prepared a summary report for each of the listening sessions. They describe the session format, participants, and topics. The reports include all of the participant input compiled during each session as well as the participant evaluation of the event.
In addition to the discussion topics listed below, participants also had an opportunity at the start of each session to share their top-of-mind concerns that might not otherwise be discussed as part of the main topics. Input from these discussions are also included in the summary reports.
