Participating on a CDSBC committee is a rewarding opportunity. Your efforts and unique perspective will help the College regulate dentistry in the public interest. CDSBC committee members normally serve for a two-year term, and may be re-appointed upon the completion of their term. During that time you will get to see the impact of your work.
Each CDSBC committee is accountable to the Board. Committees assist the Board in fulfilling its statutory regulatory responsibilities and support the Board's oversight of policy development. The CDSBC Committee Member Conduct agreement sets out the conduct of Committee members required in service of the College’s objectives.
CDSBC committee meetings are typically held on weekday evenings at the
CDSBC office in Vancouver. Committee members are eligible for honorariums for meeting time as described in the
CDSBC Expense Policy.
More information about each committee is available on the
CDSBC Committees page and in the
2015/16 annual report.
