Board meetings are being conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are unable to accommodate guests at this time; however, questions are invited until 24 hours prior to a meeting using our
Board Question Submission form (see "How to submit questions" below).
Regular meetings of the CDSBC Board are open to the public. They are typically followed by an in camera session (closed to the public).
At this time, our Board meetings are being conducted virtually (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). We are temporarily unable to accommodate guests at board meetings; however, the agenda will be posted in advance and questions are invited in advance of the meeting.
As a health regulator working in the public interest, CDSBC invites participation from members of the public and from registrants (certified dental assistants, dental therapists and dentists).
Please submit any questions related to Board agenda items using our Board question submission form. We typically ask that online question(s) be submitted three days prior to a meeting to allow time for consideration of the response; however, due to the changes related to the extenuating circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently accepting questions up to 24 hours before the meeting.
We cannot respond to questions or comments about patient complaints or individual registrants due to confidentiality, privacy and legal requirements. Questions and comments must relate to the agenda items of the meeting and reflect the mandate of CDSBC.
Meetings are held four times a year, usually in the months of September, November, February and June.

Although participation in discussions during the meeting is limited to Board members, the Registrar/CEO, and College staff who may be present at the invitation of the Board, anyone may address the Board through online submission prior to the meeting (for all meetings) and/or in person at a board meeting as a guest (for in-person meetings).

At in-person meetings, all guests will be asked to sign in and we ask all guests to respect the format of this business meeting and to refrain from speaking to other participants while the meeting is in progress.
Confidential agenda items will be discussed during the in camera (closed session) of the Board meeting. The in camera session will not be posted online following the meeting.
