CDSBC's office remains closed to the public at this time to keep ourselves and our communities safe. Staff are, however, working remotely to ensure continuity of work, and our reception phone maintains regular business hours.
The College wishes to provide assurance to all those involved in complaint investigations, mentorships, or educational agreements: we remain committed to ensuring continuity to ensure the public is protected during the current COVID-19 crisis. Following the communication channels outlined below will help to ensure this continuity.

We recognize the impact of the pandemic may affect our ability to conclude complaint investigations in accordance with the timelines set out in the Health Professions Act. At this time, email is the only way to ensure that your correspondence will be received and added to a file. Please direct all correspondence related to complaints to firstname.lastname@example.org (rather than by hard copy mail).
We also acknowledge the challenges registrants and complainants may face in responding to College enquiries within specified time frames. If you require additional time to respond to a complaint-related matter, do not hesitate to contact us to request a time extension by sending an email to us at email@example.com with reference to the complaint number and we will respond.
To ensure our registrants and mentors are safe, effective immediately, participation in all educational agreements entered into with the College, including but not limited to case reviews, mentorships, study clubs or other educational courses, are deferred until the COVID-19 crisis is resolved. At that time, CDSBC's Monitoring Team will contact you about resuming the educational program in accordance with new timelines.
Registrants who have agreed to complete online courses as part of an agreement have the option of proceeding or deferring participation.
While the CDSBC office is closed, staff are working remotely to ensure continuity of ongoing Monitoring Files where the educational courses have been fulfilled and chart reviews are underway or scheduled. At this time, email is the only way to ensure that your correspondence will be received and added to a file. Please direct all correspondence to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The College acknowledges the impact of the pandemic may create obstacles for some Registrants to access and provide treatment records so chart reviews can be conducted. If you receive a request from CDSBC for treatment records and require a time extension or deferral until the crisis is resolved, please email email@example.com.
