  • Report from Board Chair, Mr. Carl Roy (28:00)
    • “The four [BC oral health regulatory] boards have determined that the creation of a single regulatory body will be a new way to regulate the dental disciplines in BC and will support the provision of safe, effective, culturally sensitive oral health care for patients and the public."

COVID-19 Vaccination Order for Regulated Health Professionals

CDSBC has received confirmation from the office of the Provincial Health Officer that all regulated health professionals, including all oral health professionals, and the unregulated staff in their offices or businesses, will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect patients. We expect that these requirements, and the timeline for implementation, will be laid out in detail in a new public health order.

We are awaiting further direction from the Ministry of Health and Provincial Health Officer regarding implementation of the vaccine requirement and we will continue to work collaboratively with them to move this forward. CDSBC will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
