Interruption in Postal Service

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has filed notice to strike however negotiations are still taking place with a special mediator. Should postal services be interrupted, mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. Canada Post is advising customers to take precautions by making alternative arrangements. (Read the Canada Post latest news release.)

How will the interruption in postal services affect College communications?

As Canada Post cannot guarantee delivery, the College will not mail any documents during this time.

Applications

We would suggest that registrants not send applications or communications to the College via Canada Post during this time, instead please make alternate arrangements.

Please note that applications or documents which require notarization can be hand delivered or sent via courier.

If you have any questions, please contact the staff in the registration department at registration@cdsbc.org or 604.736.3621.

Submitting a complaint

If you have a complaint or have been asked to provide information about or respond to a complaint, please send it by emailing complaints@cdsbc.org.

We continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on this page to assist you in the event of a prolonged interruption in postal service.
