The way you demonstrate your competence as a registrant may change. We're inviting CDAs and dentists under 40, whom we have yet to hear much from, to have their say on Quality Assurance and join in the discussion.
Questions to be discussed include: What is the best way to maintain and improve your clinical skills and dental knowledge? How do you obtain CE credits? Should specific courses be required for registrants?
Don't miss out on this conversation
All you need is a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection, and a desire to contribute to this important conversation.

On March 1, 23 health professions regulators in B.C. became the first in Canada to pledge their commitment to making our health system more culturally safe and effective for First Nations and Aboriginal peoples. CDSBC is a signatory to the Declaration of Commitment that is based on the principles of cultural safety and humility. This includes promoting the value of cultural safety training to the professionals we regulate.
The Provincial Health Services Authority has developed a facilitated online training program designed to increase knowledge, enhance self-awareness, and strengthen the skills of those who work both directly and indirectly with Aboriginal people. The San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program is available for both clinical and non-clinical professionals. Learn more about the program on their website.
