Dr. Chris Hacker Appointed Acting Registrar

The College’s Board has appointed Dr. Chris Hacker as Acting Registrar. Chris is stepping in following the resignation of Registrar/CEO Jerome Marburg. Chris has been with the College for six years, eventually overseeing the complaints team as the Director of Professional Practice in 2017. Deputy Registrar was added to that title five months later.

Chris practised general dentistry for over 35 years and is pleased to bring that experience to the challenges of this new role. He serves as an examiner for the National Dental Examining Board, and was a founding member of the Study Club Alliance of BC. He is a member of the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators, the Academy of RV Tucker Study Clubs, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

New Online Form to Submit Complaint

The College recently added an online complaint submission form to the website, so complainants can now submit a complaint entirely online. The new form provides clarity to complainants about what information we need from them when they submit a complaint. This will not change any aspect of the complaints process for registrants.
