Exemption of returned soldiers from examination and fees
- In this section, "any member of Her Majesty's forces" means a person who
joins for service in any of the, forces of Her Majesty, in a war in which Canada is
a belligerent, or of any power being at the time he or she joined or subsequently
becoming an ally of Her Majesty, whether by enlistment or as a volunteer or
reservist, or through being commissioned, mobilized, called out, or drafted to
service, and who having joined was engaged in active service at home or abroad
in connection with the war, whether in the capacity of officer, seaman, marine,
soldier, airman, nurse or in any capacity.
- Any member of Her Majesty's forces who at the time he or she became a member
was a resident and domiciled in British Columbia and was a Canadian citizen,
and was then entitled to be registered as a member of the college, except for the
fact that he or she had not passed the final examination or paid the fees required
by this Act, on his or her written application to the council, must be registered as
a member of the college without being required to pay a fee or take the final
examination, except the clinical group of subjects in the examination.
