Section 47
Witnesses
- The council, a committee, a panel or a member of any of them may issue a subpoena for the attendance of a witness at a hearing and for the production of records by the witness at the hearing.
- Failure of a witness to attend or produce the required records makes the witness, on application by the college to the Supreme Court, liable to be committed for contempt as if in breach of an order or a judgment of the Supreme Court.
- The testimony of witnesses must be taken under oath which a member of the council, a committee or a panel may administer.
