Section 17
Executive committee
- At its first meeting following its election, the council must appoint from among its members an executive committee for action on all matters delegated to it by the council, or that require immediate action, interference or attention between council meetings.
- All actions of the executive committee are valid unless otherwise ordered by the council, but the executive committee has no power to alter, repeal or suspend a bylaw of the council.
