Section 14

Council decides who is elected

  1. In the case of doubt or dispute as to the legality of the election of a member of the council, the council may decide who is the legally elected member of the council.

  2. The person whom the council decides to have been elected is the member legally elected.

  3. If an election is found to have been illegal, the council may order a new election to fill the vacancy.
