The Guidelines for Promotional Activities are regulated under Part 12 of the CDSBC Bylaws. The Guidelines have been written to reflect the requirements of the profession as set out in the Code of Ethics with respect to advertising, product endorsements and other marketing-related topics.
The College is proposing new bylaws (12.02 and 12.05) and guidelines regarding promotional activities. Click here to read the proposed bylaws and guidelines and for information on how to submit feedback. The public consultation phase runs until January 31, 2014.
