Dental Corporations
Approval of the College is required for a member to practise dentistry as a corporation.
Please note that dental corporations are now regulated under the HPA and College Bylaws. Dentists are advised to obtain independent, professional accounting and legal advice pertaining to the incorporation of their practice.
Application instructions
Complete the Application Form. Please do not alter the application. Add the date, the proposed name of the corporation (see link below), and the dentist's name and signature.
A lawyer must complete, sign and seal the "Certificate of Compliance" to accompany the dentist's application letter.
- A fee of $556 (set by the Board) must accompany the application and certificate.
- Mail the application, certificate of compliance and cheque, payable to the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, to the attention of Karen England at the College.
- Please allow 7 to 10 working days for the application to be processed.
