Criminal Record Check

All current and new registrants of certain professional regulatory bodies are required to undergo a criminal record check every five years.

In 2011 it involves dentists and CDAs whose surnames begin with the letters A to U and who have not been checked in the previous four years.

The criminal record check is a mandatory process required by law of all current and new registrants of professional regulatory bodies. Dentists and CDAs who fail to comply with the criminal record check will not be eligible to renew their registration/certification in 2012.
