Approval of the College is required for a member
to practise dentistry as a corporation.
Application instructions for New Incorporations
Please note that dental corporations are now regulated under the HPA and CDSBC Bylaws. Dentists are advised to obtain independent, professional accounting and legal advice pertaining to the incorporation of their practice.
- Complete Form 31 and submit to the attention of Karen England at CDSBC
- Once the Registrar approves the name, you must apply to the Registrar of Companies for consent to incorporate
- Once incorporated, complete Forms 28 & 30
- Have your solicitor complete Form 29
- A fee of $556 (set by the Board) must accompany the application to CDSBC
- Mail all completed Forms (28–30), along with supporting documents and cheque, payable to CDSBC, to the attention of Karen England
NOTE: Allow 10 to 15 working days for the application to be processed
