Numerous stories have appeared in the news media this week about bisphenol A (BPA). Bisphenol A is an industrial chemical used to make a hard, clear plastic known as polycarbonate, which is used in many consumer products, including reusable water bottles and baby bottles.

CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINE FOR ORAL CANCER

British Columbia is leading the way with the first clinical practice guideline for the early detection of oral cancer in adults. Developed by the BC Oral Cancer Prevention Program of the BC Cancer Agency in partnership with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, the Guideline provides B.C. dentists with recommendations about the appropriate use of oral cancer screening techniques.
